Baeturia Domus Morisca, case of 4 × 3 L tins

Baeturia Domus Morisca in a case of four 3 L tins: twelve litres of extra virgin olive oil from the Morisca variety, Baeturia’s most intense, with medium-high fruitiness and medium bitterness and pepper. A generous pantry format to share between homes, kitchens or gifts that actually get used.

Baeturia Domus Morisca in a case brings together four three-litre tins of extra virgin olive oil from the Morisca variety. That is twelve litres for kitchens that really go through oil, to share between several homes or to settle the pantry for many months.

Morisca is Baeturia’s most intense variety: medium-high fruitiness, with a bitterness and pepperiness that stay at medium level. Each tin has a handle and shields the oil from light, so they can be opened one at a time as needed.

Baeturia, the house of Morisca

Baeturia takes its name from the ancient region the Romans placed in the south of today’s province of Badajoz, a land of dehesa pastures, holm oaks and old olive groves. From Zafra, the house makes extra virgin olive oils from Extremadura’s own varieties, such as Morisca, Carrasqueña and Manzanilla Cacereña.

The oil is cold-extracted at 22 ºC on the same day the olives are picked. In Domus, Baeturia’s three-litre tin, that freshness is delivered four times over.

For those who cook a lot

  • Stews, sofrito and big-pot braises.
  • Spoon-dish pulses, with a splash of raw oil at serving.
  • Meat and vegetables roasted in the oven.
  • Gazpacho, salads and toast, raw.
  • Home frying, because Morisca stands up well in the pan.

With the Baeturia Domus Morisca case at home, oil stops being a pending purchase and becomes something that is always in the pantry.

Why a case of 4 × 3 L tins

Baeturia Domus Morisca, case of 4 × 3 L tins

The four-tin case is the format for anyone who buys once and cooks all year: twelve litres of Baeturia Domus Morisca, which can be shared between two or three homes, or opened one tin at a time as the last one runs out. Closed tins keep best in a cool place, away from heat and direct light.

With one tin in use and three in reserve, the oil always comes out at its best. Decanting a little into a small cruet makes everyday life easier and avoids opening the tin each time.
