Nose
An intense green fruitiness that recalls olive leaf, tomato plant and fresh grass, over a background of green almond.
Palate
Powerful and well structured, with a marked but harmonious bitterness and pungency.

Long and clean. It is an oil with presence, one you notice on the plate that adds character even in small amounts.
A land of olive trees since Mozarabic times
Casas de Hualdo lies in an area of Toledo where olives have been grown since Mozarabic times. The family built its own mill in 2009 and has made and sold its oils since 2010, controlling the whole process with modern technology.
In 2015 the Casas de Hualdo Picual won second prize at the International Olive Council’s Mario Solinas competition in the intense green fruitiness category, and the same year a gold medal at Olive Japan.
