Sweetness and ripe fruit

On the nose it is fruity, with hints of ripe fruit and nuts reminiscent of almond. It is a warm, rounded aroma, with no rough edges.

On the palate it is light and sweet, with barely perceptible bitterness and pepperiness. Its mildness means it never masks flavours but accompanies and enhances them.

Invicto, from Villanueva de la Reina

Invicto is a young extra virgin olive oil brand based in Bailén, whose oils are made in Villanueva de la Reina, on the Guadalquivir plain as it crosses Jaén. Its name and imagery evoke Victoria, the winged goddess of victory, who appears on its bottles and gift cases.

The house focuses on single-variety oils that clearly show the character of each olive, presented in bottles designed both for the table and for giving.

In the kitchen

  • Bread and breakfast toast.
  • Leaf and fruit salads.
  • Steamed or baked white fish.
  • Mayonnaise and emulsified sauces.
  • Sponge cakes and baking.

Its sweetness makes it a good substitute for butter in sweet cooking.

A 500 ml black bottle

Black glass prevents light from damaging the oil, one of the main causes of aroma loss. Its floral illustration makes the bottle stand out on the table and a pleasant gift.

Half a litre is used within a few weeks. It keeps best tightly closed, in a cool, dry place.
