Tasting Oro de Bailén 4-Variety Pack

The Picual offers fresh-olive fruitiness with great complexity of herbaceous and fruity aromas, led by green banana, almond and green tomato; on the palate it is sweet and slightly peppery. The Arbequina has medium fresh-olive fruitiness, with green aromas and its characteristic sweet notes of banana, apple and almond.

Frantoio and Hojiblanca complete the range with their own nuances. Together, the case travels from green aromas and herbs to sweet fruity notes, with a progressive palate: a sweet entry and a lightly bitter, peppery finish.

The Oro Bailén family

Oro Bailén belongs to Galgón 99, a company in Bailén that since 2005 has made, bottled and sold extra virgin olive oil from olives grown in the family's own groves in Sierra Morena. It holds ISO 9000 quality management certification.

Its oils have been recognised in national and international competitions such as those of the International Olive Council, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Expoliva and NYIOOC, and in the 2019/2020 season the Evooleum guide named it the best olive oil in the world.

How to enjoy Oro de Bailén 4-Variety Pack

  • Picual for toast, gazpacho and stews.
  • Arbequina for fish, mild salads and baking.
  • Hojiblanca for vegetables and pulses.
  • Frantoio for fresh cheeses and bread.

Having several varieties makes it possible to play at the table and compare how the same dish changes with each oil.

A case of twelve

Oro de Bailén 4-Variety Pack, 12 bottles of 500 ml (6 L)

The twelve half-litre bottles are spread across the available varieties, so each oil is opened when needed while the others stay sealed. It is a format designed for families who cook a lot, for gifts or for anyone who wants Oro Bailén always at home.

The oils are kept in stainless steel tanks before bottling; at home, they are best stored away from light and heat.
