Oro de Bailén Deluxe Deluxe brings four extra virgin olive oils from Jaén together in one presentation: Picual, Arbequina, Hojiblanca and Frantoio. Each variety has its own 500 ml bottle, making the case a way to compare the character of different olives around the same table.
From the intensity of Picual to softer notes found in other varieties, the selection offers a range of green and fruity aromas. The bottles remain separate, so that each oil has its own place in the kitchen.

Tasting Oro de Bailén Deluxe
Picual has an intense, complex green fruitiness, with notes reminiscent of tomato, apple and freshly cut grass. Arbequina has medium fruitiness and brings together herbs, green wheat, almond, apple and ripe banana.
Hojiblanca combines herbal tones and artichoke with green apple and almond. Its bitterness and pungency are balanced. Frantoio brings grass and leaf together with almond and red fruit; its entry is soft and sweet, with low bitterness and pungency.
A small tasting of each oil helps reveal differences in aroma, texture and finish. The varieties can be considered side by side, while each bottle retains its own identity rather than being described as a single blend.
From a Jaén producer
Oro Bailén belongs to Galgón 99, a business associated with Jaén and the surroundings of Sierra Morena. The producer's work with different varieties is reflected in this case, where each oil is presented individually.
Picual, Arbequina and Hojiblanca are familiar names in Spanish olive growing; Frantoio adds another variety to the selection. Kept in separate bottles, their profiles can be explored individually and compared at the table.
How to enjoy Oro de Bailén Deluxe
- Picual with fresh tomato, toast or roasted vegetables.
- Arbequina alongside fruit, plain yoghurt or delicate preparations.
- Hojiblanca with artichokes, salads and seasonal vegetables.
- Frantoio over pulses, fresh cheese or bread.
A simple piece of bread can serve as a common base for the four oils. The differences become part of the meal: a more expressive oil can give way to a gentler one as the ingredients change. The case also suits a shared tasting where each bottle can be considered on its own.
Oro de Bailén Deluxe: four bottles of 500 ml

The case contains two litres in total, divided between four half-litre bottles. The individual format keeps the varieties distinct and makes the selection easy to organise in a cupboard or present at a shared meal.
For everyday storage, closed bottles are best kept in a cool place away from direct light and sources of heat. Opening each bottle when it is needed helps keep the oils apart and their individual aromas easy to recognise.
