Padilla Selección Taggiasca, 500 ml bottle
12,50 € VAT included per bottle, box of 6

Padilla Selección Taggiasca is an extra virgin olive oil from the Ligurian Taggiasca variety, grown by Aceites Padilla in Jaén. Deep green, with intense green-olive fruitiness, herbal notes and an elegant aniseed aftertaste. The oil comes in a 500 ml bottle from the Padilla family groves.
Padilla Selección Taggiasca began as a wager: in March 2015, the Padilla family planted the first plantation of Taggiasca in Spain on one of their plots in Jaén. This variety, native to Liguria, gives an oil with a character very different from the Picual of the province.
It is an extra virgin olive oil of deep green colour, with intense green-olive fruitiness and an aniseed aftertaste that makes it unmistakable. The 500 ml bottle invites you to try it slowly, in small spoonfuls, before taking it to the table.

Taggiasca from Liguria, planted in Jaén
Taggiasca is an Italian variety from Liguria. The Padilla family, olive growers in Jaén, planted it on one of their plots in March 2015: the first plantation of this variety in Spain. Alongside Picual and Carlesca, it is one of the uncommon varieties with which the house widens its range.
The olives are picked in the first days of October and cold-extracted at 22–24 ºC the same day. A fast, careful job so that Padilla Selección Taggiasca reaches the bottle with all its green energy.
What to serve with Padilla Selección Taggiasca
