An oil from Extremadura

Baeturia takes its name from the ancient region the Romans placed in the south of today's province of Badajoz, a land of dehesas, holm oaks and old olive groves. From there the house makes extra virgin olive oils from varieties typical of Extremadura, such as Morisca, Carrasqueña or Manzanilla Cacereña.

Its oil is extracted cold, at 22 ºC, on the same day the olives are picked, to keep the freshness of the fruit in the bottle. That is the oil that fills the Baeturia Alcuza Aceitunera.

In the kitchen with the Baeturia Alcuza Aceitunera

  • Toast with a thread of oil to finish.
  • Salads and tomatoes, dressed at the table.
  • Grilled or oven-roasted vegetables.
  • Stews and pulses, to top off the served dish.
  • Any dish that welcomes a green fruitiness.

The 500 ml alcuza: how to use it

Baeturia Alcuza Aceitunera cruet, 500 ml

Serve straight from the alcuza: its spout lets you dose a fine thread over salads, toast or finished dishes. When it is empty, simply refill it with your usual oil.

To keep the oil in good condition, store the Baeturia Alcuza Aceitunera away from the hob and direct light, and rinse it now and then with lukewarm water before filling it again.
